Makeup Magic – From Ginny to Haute Muse

Many Harry Potter fans (me included) will remember her as little Ginny Weasley in the movies. But Bonnie Wright has shown that she is all grown-up and fully blossomed, after posing for the cover of Haute Muse magazine.

The 20-year-old actress is magically transformed into a sultry beauty as she dons smokey dark eyeshadow, strong contoured cheeks and a deep plum-coloured lips, which complements her red hair and pale skin for the cover.

The cover is apparently a move by Bonnie to distance herself from the schoolgirl character of Ginny after she finishes promoting the final movie, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II. Perhaps she’ll be ready to star in a romantic vampire blockbuster, judging from the cover shoot.

Before that, Ginny will have to say goodbye to reel lover, Harry Potter, in the final and long awaited psychological thriller which will see her marry Harry and have three children who are, of course, named James, Albus and Lily.

Bonnie is engaged to Twilight star Jamie Campbell-Bower in real life.

Here’s one of my favourite smokey eye makeup look by celebrity makeup artist, Lisa Eldridge, for Cheryl Cole’s cover shoot on Elle magazine — a modern, cool, sexy look. Cream shadows are less likely to smudge off and mess your cheeks; they are long-lasting and perfect for hot summers or clubbing. Loved the sculpted cheeks Lisa did without looking overdone.
