We are quite sure Tim Gunn has caught Hillary Clinton’s attention.
During his appearance on ‘Lopez Tonight’ a few days ago, the fashion guru criticized the Secretary of State’s fashion choices.
“WHY must she dress that way? I think she’s confused about her gender…all these big, baggy, menswear tailored pantsuits,” Gunn told host, George Lopez.
Lopez doesn’t do much to help with his follow-up question: “But how can someone hide cankles?”
“If her pants did not stop an inch above her ankles, she could hide her cankles!” the Project Runway mentor advised.

Shortly after the harsh criticism, Hillary Clinton was spotted at the Norwegian Embassy in soft pink blazer, accented with a flat pearl necklace with a spiffy white pocket square, and finishing off her look with a longer and more feminine hairstyle.
Women who wear the pants:
Coco Chanel rocked the fashion world with one in the ’30s. Marlene Dietrich and Katharine Hepburn wore them to the gender line during the ’30s and ’40s. Yves Saint Laurent feminized them in the ’60s, and the Giorgio Armani power suit took over every ’80s boardroom with strong shoulders and sturdy menswear wools. Helmut Lang and Jil Sander stripped the pant suit down to its barest architecture in the ’90s for a lean and mean modern look that was the very essence of cool for a decade. Today, pant suits are back on the runways in a big way, and they continue to say, ‘Take me seriously.’
YES, you can look trés chic in a pant suit. Here’s how:
Few fashionable women are more serious about their choices than the senior vice president of Estée Lauder, Aerin Lauder. “I always wear pant suits,” she tells Harper’s Bazaar. “I have a formula and a uniform. And pant suits are versatile and really easy to wear.”
So exactly how is this former Tom Ford devotee wearing her suits? “With a really soft shirt underneath, a long gold-chain Alexis Bittar necklace, a classic pointy Christian Louboutin pump, a handbag from Céline or Lanvin, and a great lipstick.”
